I had a great experience at papillon esthetics from start to finish. I had scheduled with another surgeon when I came across Dr. Papillons before and after photos for chin liposuction. I really felt like they were better than (thousands) of other photos I had seen, so after a quick scan of his reviews I called to set up a consultation. Regina at the front desk really took her time explaining the process and chatting with me and by the end of the conversation I already knew I was going to cancel with the other surgeon.
Dr papillon only increased my confidence at our consultation and from there the scheduling process was up front and easy. The procedure itself was quick and I was feeling almost back to normal with minimal pain after only two days. Everyone is different but I had almost none of the dark bruises I have seen on other individuals who underwent the same procedure and I am an east bruiser so I credit that to Dr. Papillons care. I am two months out from my procedure and loving the results! It looks and feels amazing and I would recommend this procedure with Dr. Papillon to anyone who’s thinking of going for it!

I highly recommend Dr. Papillion for any plastic surgery needs you may be considering. Dr. P is very thorough, meticulous and he is also very kind. He will let you know upfront what results you can expect. He will not try to upsell you on procedures, and he keeps things real from the beginning. I do feel that my health and well being were of the utmost importance from the first consultation throughout my recovery. Dr. P was available anytime I needed him during recovery, and was checking in on me those first few days after my procedure. I had been contemplating a breast reduction and lift for quite sometime. Dr Papillion and all of his staff are so kind and helpful. At my consult we went over everything I wanted and some of what to expect. I had a 100 questions about the procedure and aftercare and Dr. Papillion was happy to take the time to answer all of them. Once my consult was over his wife Sarah brought me to her office to go over cost and ultimately book my surgery date and put down a deposit. I’m 11 weeks post-op now and so happy with my results! When talking to him about a breast lift he had me send him photos of what size and shape I was going for so he could do the best job possible to give me what I wanted. He also managed to cut out pretty much the entirety (minus 2 small 1-inch lines) of a huge hip to hip tattoo that I had which I was very pleased with!

Dr. Papillion is not a surgeon that will forget about you after your procedure is over. He gives out his personal cell phone number and is available 24/7 if needed. When I developed a suspected blood clot a week after surgery he was on top of making sure I went to the ER and came to visit me the next day in the hospital before going in for surgery to see how I was doing. I went to Dr. Papillion after extreme (100+ lb.) weight loss left me with skin laxity around my belly and genetic “love handles” that no matter what I did, I could never get them off. The entire office was so friendly and helpful and instantly made me feel comfortable about what would be my first surgery. Dr. P was very thorough and upfront with what he thought would be the best plan to address my concerns, but he was always kind and non-judgmental in his evaluation. He gave me all the options and insight I needed to make a decision. In the end, I wound up having an extended abdominoplasty and liposuction to the flanks. Although I am still healing and my nose is still swollen (as expected), being 2 months out, the results were exactly as I expected if not better. I am very happy with what I’ve seen so far. I went to Dr. Papillion to have a unique type of otoplasty done. I didn’t like that my ears didn’t have much of a fold on the top and the scapha (upper ear) appeared long, which caused them to look elf like to me. Dr. P and his staff were very kind from the start and made me feel comfortable. I was pretty nervous the day of the procedure, but they gave me a combo of mild oral medications that helped me to relax. Dr. P’s staff was wonderful and had soft music playing and covered me with blankets. I don’t remember a lot during the procedure but, do remember a sweet nurse patting my hands while getting the numbing injections, which was very comforting. The numbing injections around the ears weren’t bad at all and I had zero pain during the procedure. The first 48 hours after was the most painful, as expected, but honestly wasn’t a big deal. I didn’t even pick up the pain meds they had prescribed and just took 1 or 2 tylenol. Most of the pain was from me bumping my ears by accident.

It’s been about a month and a half now and my ears are healing well and look much more normal. The procedure has given me the confidence to go swimming without worrying my ears are showing or to wear my hair up. I would highly recommend Dr. Papillion for any procedure. He is a great surgeon!

Consultation: I have wanted a breast augmentation for as long as I can remember. I finally started saving money in Feb/Mar of 2016. I researched daily, from Plastic Surgeons, implant types, sizes, placement, etc… I scheduled 3 consultations with my Top 3 Plastic Surgeon choices. My first consult was with Dr. Paul Papillion. I waited no more than 5 minutes to get into a room and have a nurse come right behind. Shortly after that Dr. Papillion joined in and introduced himself. He was kind and made me feel right as ease. I went in to my consultation with question after question, but before I could even ask a majority of them Dr. Papillion hit them all on the spot. He never made me feel rushed and allowed me to ask any additional questions he didn’t cover and answered them in the best ways possible for me to understand. After he left the nurse and I took (before) photos, tried on implant sizers and that day I decided I liked 500cc’s. The nurse took photos on my phone for me with the sizers in so I can have to see how they looked on my body frame. Afterwards, I went and spoke with Lisa, the Director of Patient/Physician Relations. We discussed the cost and looked at surgery dates, but I wanted to go home and discuss my consult with my husband and decided if I wanted to continue consulting with other PS’s. Needless to say, I was on Cloud 9 with how my consult went, how much I loved Dr. Papillion and his staff and had no second thoughts on whether I wanted him to perform my operation or not. I called the following day and scheduled my surgery for 10/19/16. Pre-Op Appointment: I went in right under 2 weeks before my surgery to fill out paperwork and to go over what not to do before surgery. During this appointment they allowed me to go into another room again to try on sizers because I expressed my desire to possibly go bigger than my original 500cc choice. After trying on sizers again I decided I was happier with the look of 600cc. The nurse checked with Dr. Papillion to make sure this would be an option for me and he came in to discuss my changes with me. (I wasn’t even scheduled to see him during this appointment, so for him to come in and see/talk with me was great in my opinion) Today I am a little over a month PO and I LOVE my result. I love my choice on Dr. Papillion, I loved how nice his staff was, I love the surgery center he performs his procedures at and how kind all of those nurses were. Best decision I could have ever made for myself.

After years of being self-conscious about my breasts (36A), I got the courage to call Dr. Papillion’s office and set up a consultation with him. He made me feel at ease, answered all of my questions, and I left feeling no pressure to go ahead with the procedure. After a few days, I had more questions so I emailed him, and he immediately wrote back and answered those as well. When I decided to get my mini-tuck I visited a few plastic surgeons in Nashville and never had a good first impression or felt comfortable with them. My quest to find a plastic surgeon was coming to an end and I almost gave up until I found Dr. Paul Papillion. My initial visit with him was perfect. I initially had breast implants placed 27 years ago. Over the years scarring occurred continuously creating hard and unnatural breasts. One side became larger than the other and appeared out of proportion in clothing. I was very self conscious about it for years.

I had Dr. Papillion remove the scar tissue and replace the implants. I could not be happier!!! I look and feel natural, and now I can hug people without them feeling this weird, hard chest I had, which made them uncomfortable. I actually had to be careful about hugging people!

Having a breast augmentation done by Dr. Papillion was one of the best decisions I could have made for myself. I continue to be impressed by the punctuality of the staff. I had my consult on Monday and due to my tight schedule had the procedure done on Wednesday. I had little to no pain afterward. I only took two of the pain medications. I returned to work on Monday. When I met with him he wasn’t rushed, he took his time, addressed my concerns, shared his opinions and answered any questions that I had. I could tell right away that my experience with him was wonderful.

The staff is amazing, from the surgical coordinator to the super friendly receptionist and of course the nurses who took care of me in every step of the way. They all are very professional, courteous and make you feel relaxed.

I did research for about 2 years before deciding on a surgeon for breast augmentation with lift and a tummy tuck. When I met with Dr. Papillion for the first time, he by far exceeded my expectations and completely put my mind at ease. I immediately knew that I wanted him to be my surgeon for my procedure. He always remained available at all times to me by giving me his cell phone number which I did use often cause I was overly cautious during my healing process. As well as his office staff (Leslie is awesome, very personable and always puts a smile on my face) during my recovery period I also had her cell phone number and she always reassured me. From my consultation in September to my breast augmentation surgery in December and all the appointments in between, I’m glad I chose Dr. Papillion to perform my surgery. I was having severe irritation and pain in my breast and thought maybe I had capsulary contraction. It was unbareable and I couldn’t imagine another day with my implants in. I had a lift and implants put in 11 years ago that resulted in 2 surgeries because my implants never dropped down. I’m 52 years old, I went to see a plastic surgeon in Paris Tn. he was not interested in doing the procedure on someone as old as me. I left there hurt and discouraged. I was always brought in to an examining Room almost immediately each visit so I wouldn’t feel self conscious. Always so attentive. All nurses and staff were extremely caring and attentive to my me. I had to keep my drain in for several days longer than originally expected and finally right on the holiday weekend, Dr Papillon met me and my husband at his office to remove the drain! He was great to both My husband and daughter in law who helped to take care of me at home.

My experience with Dr Papillion and his office was very professional, friendly, knowledgeable and sensitive to my many questions, concerns, and minor fears. I would do this again without hesitation. I’ve always despised my nose prior to surgery. I was hesitant about getting the surgery because I feared that it wouldn’t turn out how I hoped for. Fortunately, Dr. Papillion did an outstanding job and my new nose is so great! My healing process was so easy and I had barely any bruising as well. Overall there wasn’t really any cons for me except for the possible outcome of my nose. I am so grateful I went through with the surgery with Dr. Papillion and his staff, because I couldn’t of asked for a better outcome.

After doing a good amount of research I decided to go to Dr. Paul Papillion for the neck lift procedure. This decision proved to be the correct one. Dr. Papillion and his entire staff were extremely professional. I could not be happier with the outcome of the procedure. Never did I feel I was being “sold ” anything. Dr. Papillion was patient and listened during our pre-surgical consults. He trusted my judgment both on what kind of outcome I was looking for and on my ability to handle facial surgery with only local anesthetic. Because I wasn’t under general, I actually remember quite a bit of the surgery (we listened to David Bowie radio on Pandora and they loosely wrapped a blanket under my chin and up over my eyes; the couple of times I started to feel sensation in my nose, I said “ow,” and Dr. Papillion gave me another shot of local anesthetic). My recovery was rough for a day or two, with nostrils full of bloody scabs, but it quickly improved, and I was able to return to work a week after surgery with a nose that was swollen but not noticeably so to anyone who didn’t know what I’d had done. Now almost 3 months later, the swelling has subsided significantly and it looks great. I’m glad I went to Dr. Papillion and would recommend him for his courtesy and skill.

Dr. Papillion is so knowledgeable and does amazing work… from my first consultation, I felt so comfortable letting him handle my surgery. He answered all my questions and eased all of my apprehensions and silly questions before and after my procedure and most importantly I love my results!
