She cheers for the VOLS as an avid TENNESSEE fan. She is involved with her church and also volunteers time when she can at Cottage Cove, an inner city children’s ministry, where her husband serves on the board. She believes that the chief end of man is to glorify God and enjoy him forever.

Sarah Papillion, Patient Care Coordinator

Sarah Papillion, Patient Care CoordinatorSarah Papillion is the Patient Care Coordinator for Papillion Aesthetics. She will take you through the process of scheduling your consultation to having your surgery. Sarah loves interacting with and assisting patients in their surgery journey. She has been submerged in the world of plastic surgery for over a decade because she also happens to be Dr. Papillion’s wife.

Education

Sarah’s joy and experience working professionally with people starting as a teenager working in retail, waitressing, and providing child care throughout highschool and during college. She attended Northwestern State University in Louisiana on an academic scholarship and a dance scholarship. She danced her way through college on the Purple Pizzazz Pom Line earning a degree in Elementary Education graduating Magna Cum Laude and served as student president of the Student Association of Education. She married her highschool sweetheart immediately after college graduation. She spent the next 13 years teaching and serving on leadership teams, presenting at and facilitating teacher in-services. While Dr. Papillion was doing his general surgery residency, they had two children under the age of 5. Sarah was teaching full time: earned Outstanding Mathematics Teacher Award in 2003 and earned her Masters Degree from University of Tennessee in Chattanooga in 2011, all the while, full time managing their household of 4. In 2014 she followed her children to Lipscomb Academy and began teaching part time as a math enrichment teacher for 3 years and served as PTO president. When her two children moved on to middle and high school at Lipscomb Academy Sarah taught part time as a 5th-12th grade substitute teacher, volunteered daily, and administered the college AP exams to highschool students for two years. From teaching Sarah moved on to editing and assisting in interviewing at Dr. Papillon’s medical practice. Now she is using her vast knowledge of plastic surgery and love of helping people to gladly assist patients through their surgery journey!

Personal

Sarah was born in Bossier City, Louisiana and grew up in Central Louisiana. She can cook just about anything and grew up among strong matriarchal women-sister, mother, aunts, grandmother-who thrived on taking care of others. She is an avid writer, journaler and reader. She loves cleaning, organizing and creating a warm structured environment for herself and family. If she’s not at home or at work, she’s probably lifting weights at the gym! She strives to be healthy-body, mind, spirit. She loves most of all watching her kids play sports-volleyball, basketball, football, track. She understands the ins and outs of plastic surgery as she had a breast lift and aug after she finished nursing both children, and Dr. Papillon operated on her nose-curing her mouth breathing so she doesn’t keep him awake at night anymore! She believes plastic surgery doesn’t make you better but enhances the beauty you already have. The best part of looking good is to feel good. When you feel good you are better equipped to do good in the world. She looks forward to seeing each new patient and taking excellent care of them!
