What Is Involved?
A mini facelift is done under general anesthesia. Dr. Papillion will first make very tiny incisions around the hairline and/or above the ears. With extreme precision, he will manipulate underlying skin tissues in such a way as to lift them. He will pull the tissues of the skin in an upward direction through the areas of the cheeks.
Excess tissue is removed in the process as well, and external facial skin is given a tighter, firmer appearance. In this face-contouring surgery, Dr. Papillion will use sutures to stitch up the skin after the lifting is completed.

Recovery
After surgery, you will likely be sent home with bandages on the incision areas. You may also have drains to drain extra fluid. Right after a mini facelift, Dr. Papillion will instruct you not to partake in any heavy-duty activities, such as high-intensity workout regimens and sports. You may experience some pain, which can be addressed with painkillers as prescribed.
Stitches are removed after around ten days or so during a follow-up consultation. During this time, Dr. Papillion will ensure that your healing process is going as expected.
